My niece and her husband live in Houston.  They met while she was in school and got married shortly after she graduated. She seems to like it there and they have decided they will make their home there permanently. We will miss them being here with us in the City, but I think Houston will be fine for them to settle in. Since she is in medicine and he is in real estate, I think they will be okay. It is a rocky start for him though, since he decided he doesn’t want to practice law. He finds it boring doing Houston bankruptcy cases. He thought he might like being a lawyer but found he liked working for himself, and being able to have the option of not sitting in an office from nine in the morning til nine at night. But getting his real estate business up and running is proving to be very time consuming. He is spending many more hours than he ever thought he would getting this business off the ground. He is usually up very early and he works all day and gets home pretty late at night. But my niece thinks now he is a very happy man.
