I ran across some interesting things while I was cleaning out my studio last night. I woke up earlier that morning thinking I was going to start on a new painting, so I was frantically scraping through my piles of stuff and looking for those new brushes I bought. That's when I ran across my old journals! I'm going to scan every single page and do an online backup.  From that point, I think it's going to turn into this big multi-media project now. It's funny but I never would've thought to incorporate my writings into my artwork. Another thing I like about this idea is that I was always worried that something was going to happen to my journals and I wouldn't have them saved in any other format. Those are really precious to me and I can't believe that I didn't take better care of them. I got lucky. There are so many ups and downs that I've written about in there. I started flipping through random pages. It was neat to relive some of those moments. It's amazing how much you forget unless it's written down. I'm so eager to start this new project now. Forget the paintings!
