Before I started working for an Internet marketing company, I had no idea what targeted traffic was. Really, I didn’t. I know, I know. I should have climbed out of my hole and seen what the world was all about. Well, I should have climbed out of my hole and seen what the online world was about anyway. So within my first week of work, I had to become an expert on targeted traffic and search engine optimization and online marketing in general. My resume said I already was one and in my job interview I kind of claimed I was one as well. There’s no real test for that or at least the company didn’t have one. They seemed pretty hard up for help so they hired me on a trial basis and here I am. I figure I’ll get the gist of it pretty quick. The other people working here don’t seem too bright and they’re managing just fine. And if worst comes to worst and they realize that I pretty much have no idea what I’m doing, well, then I’ll just talk my way out of it just like I talked my way into it. Just stand up straight and act like you always know what’s going on and you’ll get results. Trust me.
