keyword research

for the Internet marketing firm I work for, I have to give her a back massage. If I forget to do any of the daily chores I’m supposed to like taking out the garbage, washing the car, getting the mail, or whatever, I have to give her a foot massage. I assume that if I had to help her with her work or do any of her chores that I would receive some type of massage in return, but she never forgets anything. It’s infuriating. She remembers the day, hour, and minute that we met and the day, hour, and minute that we got engaged. And, no, I did not propose to her. I was thinking about it though, however, she kept subtly suggesting it to me and eventually we somewhat mutually agreed that we were engaged for both our own goods. Then she went, picked out the engagement ring she wanted, called me, and I paid for it. She has also picked out the house we have to eventually own, what kind of dog we will want, how many children we’ll have, and what colleges they’ll be attending.

Los Angeles Angels

game was the other night. The Sox are really having a bad season and Joe was so disappointed. I decided to invite him over for dinner and make bangers and mash. The last time I invited him over, I forgot to serve half of the meal and it was cold. This time I wanted to do something nicer for him. Joe and I were having a nice conversation and dinner when there was a knock at my door. It seemed as though my neighbor, Mike, had hung a gun on the gun rack that Bill made with deer hooves and it broke. Unfortunately, the shotgun was loaded and hit shot Mike’s foot. We had to take him to the emergency room! While we were at the hospital, I ran into Father Rich who was administering last rites for a person who died at Jersey Boys. Apparently, musicals and baseball is too much for older people because this person, like Mrs. Murphy’s friend, died at the musical. This is the third death of an old person at a major even in the past few weeks. I am so saddened and hope this will be the last. Meanwhile, the Texas Holdem Bandits are still in jail, being held on 250,000 bond. My editor asked me to cover the story but because of my involvement, I didn’t think it was right. I am still trying to come up with a story for him so that I can keep my own column. In the meantime, I am stuck volunteering each and every Saturday.

My best friend Eric grew up three doors down from me. We did everything together our entire lives. Now that we are both grown, we do not get to see each other as often. I do, however, get to see his family since they still live close to me. In fact, I helped his dad last week with a project. His dad, Howard, was having their master bathroom remodeled. As an added bonus, he promised his wife, Fran, that he would redo their closet. When I got there to help, there were all sorts of cutting tools laid out, as well as hammers and nails and all sorts of different pieces of wood and some closet organizers set aside in a corner. He had a plan drawn out for what he wanted to do, and just needed some help to speed things up. He wanted to surprise Fran with the new closet when she got home from a business trip. The two of us worked diligently over a couple of days, and the closet really started to take shape. Howard even had a great idea for the final touch. We wrapped the entire closet door in wrapping paper, and put a huge bow on it to make it look like a present.

When I moved out of my house, and into my new apartment, I had a bunch of stuff to move. I have been in my apartment a month, and still have not finished unpacking. The other day I was doing some work around the apartment, and I needed my electric drill. I found the drill, but I could not find any of the drill bits. I went to Home Depot to go get new ones. I asked a clerk at the store if what I had was right for my drill, and he told me I had a

and not a drill bit at all. He walked me to the appropriate aisle, and helped me find the correct drill bits for my electric drill. We found them, and I went to purchase them. When I got back to my place, I realized I could not find the charger for my drill either. Luckily, after some searching through some boxes, I found the charger. I was glad, because I really did not feel like going back to Home Depot to get something else. I finished all the work I had to do around my place, and decided to make it my goal for the day to finish unpacking the boxes.

I’ve grown up among chefs of various talents. My earliest memory of cooking myself is at four years old. I remember standing in the kitchen, staring at my father and uncle in their white chef hats before the oven. My mother ran a private catering business, and most of my relatives were involved in some sort of cooking occupation. When I became a teenager I decided I wanted to head in the same direction. It wasn’t long before I was wearing my own chef hat, in a restaurant I opened with my older sister. She was only four years my elder, but infinitely wiser when it came to the financials and the practicality of opening our store. I dealt with the hiring and firing of staff, and the overall supervision of the kitchen and bar. We moved to Vancouver and opened up a nice sized eatery. It was a partly casual yet partly formal place, perfect for dates, parties, or even hanging out. The community was immensely pleased with the restaurant, and I with the turnout. My sister and I became wealthy almost instantly, and known for it. Within a few years we were the richest members of our family, and proud of it. I still am proud of it, even as I think about that time in my life so long ago.

If I told them yesterday I do not have the money, I don’t understand why they called again this morning and then again just now. The few thousand dollar bill I received on my credit card was not even my fault. My eldest daughter had some how gotten wind of my credit card number and other necessary information, and the next I know I get bill for a few thousand dollars. At first I was shocked but then at closer examination I saw where this money was spent and immediately I knew who it was that spent it so freely. Will teenagers ever realize the importance of money? I tried explaining to my daughter plenty of times that an eight hundred dollar shirt is way too expensive even if it is from Prada. I even thought I had gotten it into her head, but with this bill that just showed up I was obviously poorly mistaken. Now I just wish there was something I could explain to the collection agency, but they are the last people that will understand.

I ran across some interesting things while I was cleaning out my studio last night. I woke up earlier that morning thinking I was going to start on a new painting, so I was frantically scraping through my piles of stuff and looking for those new brushes I bought. That's when I ran across my old journals! I'm going to scan every single page and do an online backup. From that point, I think it's going to turn into this big multi-media project now. It's funny but I never would've thought to incorporate my writings into my artwork. Another thing I like about this idea is that I was always worried that something was going to happen to my journals and I wouldn't have them saved in any other format. Those are really precious to me and I can't believe that I didn't take better care of them. I got lucky. There are so many ups and downs that I've written about in there. I started flipping through random pages. It was neat to relive some of those moments. It's amazing how much you forget unless it's written down. I'm so eager to start this new project now. Forget the paintings!

Every year on my birthday, my parents used to stock me up with sports equipment. One year, I got a bat, baseball, a mitt, a cap, and even a catcher’s facemask and vest. Another year I got a basketball, a basket, and some of that powder you rub onto the ball so you can get a better grip. Yet another year it was golf aids. I got a club, a bag of golf balls, a bag to carry it all in, a golfing glove, and even a tee. Finally, last year, I got a football, helmet, and the rest of the equipment. Finally, I had to march up to my parents and ask them why they continually kept buying me golf aids, pads, and other sporting goods when I had never been any good at any sport. If you can’t throw well, they say you throw like a girl. Well, a girl can throw harder and farther than I can. I get winded walking up the front stairs to our houses. I’m that guy that actually gets C’s in gym class at school because I just can’t keep up with everyone else. I’ve never joined a sports team nor tried out since I never saw a point, but my parents were always pushing me, saying I’d make friends and get into shape and all that.
